Your Next Memory Is Waiting To Be Made
This week we may all make memories. Which ones we wish to cherish is up to us. Often it’s the unexpected little things that bring laughter or tears whenever we remember them.
Years ago, for my young nephew’s birthday, I baked a special cake, and while all the relatives were singing Happy Birthday, I carried my work of art across the room only to see it fall to the floor in front of the birthday boy. His burst of laughter made me smile, and soon everyone else thought it was hilarious. Why do we remember that birthday more than any other? By the way, we salvaged the bottom layer of the cake!
During the holidays, look for the little moments that might turn into your never-to-be-forgotten memories.
